My cousin Eddie is one hell of a guy. Scrub that. My cousin Eddie was one hell of a guy. We had some brilliant adventures when we were growing up. You just wouldn't believe them if you read about them in a book. But who wants to read a book called My cousin Eddie?

                But first, I should introduce myself. It's the polite thing to do. If you're going to invest some time reading about my cousin Eddie, I think it's only fair I say who I am.

                Hello, I'm Eddie's cousin. Now that we've cleared that up, I'll make a start. So, as written in the first paragraph, my cousin Eddie was one hell of a guy. But perhaps I should start at the very beginning. You know, when I first met him. Or should I say, encountered him?
